I thought there would have been aggregate strips to the trees even before the re-do of the sidewalk.
I think the bumps are to warn blind people of the hazard ahead - as opposed to putting a railing up around it (like the staircase inside the Westin Grand)

Pot lights were being installed along the inside edge of the canopy along Georgia today.
I honestly don't dislike the condo tower as much as many people do. It's an improvement over the condos in this city that look like someone used the copy/paste feature in photoshop.

The west side of the condo will be its better side.
You really think so? In my opinion the west side looks like a boring balcony wall. The east side is IMO the highlight (just don't look at the podium), even without the original color. The building looks pretty good also from the south (along Richards) where it has a good presense.
I prefer the west side because it's consistent (which could be boring, too).
I don't like the various elements of the east side (spandrel, balconies, sun shades), none of which is very prominent. I like the offset of the sections, but within each section, it's a bit of a mess.
Not that keen on the Toronto equivalent, Studio, either:
Yep. Some may say that Picasso looks like a mess, but I like its bold and distinctive colors. Exactly what Telus Garden should have done as this all-glass style make it very difficult to notice details in the design.
