I didn't realize that the dark paneling in this facade aligned with the edge of the mechanical penthouse. This tower is under-rated on here.

Thank you guys! I also think the photo came out very nicely. This is not the best angle for this building, but it doesn't look that bad either.

The red/blue light in the crown has been off for at least a week now. They figured that it is pathetic?

I used to wish they had gone with that "crystal palace" design, but now I think this one matches its neighbours much better than the crystal design would have.

I think it's just horrid-looking, what with all the shades of blue and the glass that lets the ugly blinds show. And now they've turned the lighting feature on the roof off (I haven't seen it working in months).

I agree totally about the windows that let the curtains show. Gives it a sloppy look, in that regard. For me the blue is ok, but Iwould have
kept it ONE shade of blue. The two shades together (esp the lighter blue) are tacky.
The form and and massing of the building are fine with me; I know there are people who don't like it, others do; that's always the way with just about anything.

There was an article a while back that the developer wanted to sell them to locals.

Then thats probably why they are still vacant and unsold. The locals cannot afford them. Typical developer hubris.

Or it's an excuse, as to explain why they arent selling? It probably sounds better to say that then say, nobody local or otherwise wants to buy them.

I'm just speculating here obviously.
