I don't know if there are really any gamers on this forum, but I thought some of you guys might want to see this anyway. The skyline shown at the end (1:30) is definitely missing a few buildings though. Too bad the CITC didn't show up in time for this.

I might get this game strictly because of it's setting. Philly doesn't get a lot of action like this in games and movies right now. Hopefully Hollywood will make the aliens invade us someday.

Checked out the garage below Cira Green. Roof level isn't open yet.

What films?! Like recent films (past ten years)?! All I can think of if World War Z and that wasn't actually filmed here. Plus I mean films with CGI and or building destruction. It seems like only NYC, LA and Chicago get those kind of films more often than not.

2400 Chestnut is analogous to Kennedy House, in that it is an architectural turd on the beautiful Philly skyline. I would love to see 2400 Chestnut come down and give way to something that not only meets Chestnut Street better, but also does not have the auto-centric qualities that 2400 Chestnut has. I would be a very happy man if 2400 Chestnut was replaced by a sleek new residential tower, and Mandeville Place was revived and built out like in the original rendering.

Yeah, Philadelphia doesn't have a ton of mass destruction films, but it certainly has it's fair share of movies and more recently TV shows.

Within the past ten years:

TV
Pretty Little Liars
How to Get Away With Murder
Arrow
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia
Friday Night Lights
The Goldbergs
Plus your occasional episodes of shows on Food Network, HGTV, Discovery, Sci-Fi, History, E!, etc.

Films
The Visit
Creed
Limitless
Warrior
World War Z (though shot in Glasgow, Scotland)
Silver Linings Playbook
Devil
The Lovely Bones
Law Abiding Citizen
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
Baby Mama
The Happening
The Wrestler
Marley & Me
Shooter
Live Free or Die Hard
Rock Balboa
The Fountain
Lady in the Water
Invincible
In Her Shoes

I mean it's at least one or two big films a year. I would assume the small amount of films/TV shows shot here has to do again with our idiotic state government and the tax structure. They charge production teams too much in taxes and have recently cut back on the amount of incentives and tax breaks offered to films to shoot here. That's why World War Z decided to shoot in Glasgow over Philadelphia itself.

Philadelphia is a long way away from being able to knock down 25 floor buildings and replace it with new tower when there are surface parking lots and low rise buildings literally surrounding this property in every direction that are build ready and much less costly.

You are correct. There are a ton of surface lots in Center City, especially north of Arch Street. I would much rather see our skyline gain height (at least a 600+ footer) east of Broad Street, and continue to add height west of the Schuylkill before we tear buildings down. Just hypothesizing about a perfect-world situation!
