So therefore, until an admin adds them, the only way to access them would be to either go to the main SkyscraperPage Forum homepage here: http://forum.skyscraperpage.com/

...and search through the individual subforums to find threads and subscribe to them.

Or, you could do a search similar to what I did with the search function near the top of the page. Click "advanced search" and type "Philadelphia" in the keywords box and filter below to "Search titles only." Then select the Supertall Construction, Highrise Construction, Highrise & Supertall proposals and General Development sub-forums using the shift key to select all of them and then start the search.

Best of luck!
Thanks as always summersm for the time you take to give such helpful guidance. However, that is not something I think most are going to do on a regular basis. Why are admins so slow to add projects? That impedes the whole purpose of the website. Is there a way to expedite these projects' addition? That's really aggravating the fact that they have basically caused those projects to drop off the radar for everyone who is not inclined or doesn't have the time to do an advanced search all the time.

It isn't just a Philly threads issue. The Chicago mods are having the same problem. The real problem is that only two people (Dylan Leblanc and Mike K IIRC) have the power to tag threads and it doesn't seem like either of them have done so in a little while.

Is this thread open for the papal visit or did the secret service shut it down, too?

We're open even though they tried. I thwarted their attempts.

Pretty cool shot from Flickr.

Obvious new additions are Evo (2014), Chestnut Square (2013) and 2116 Chestnut (2013) with 1919 Market and Comcast Innovation & Technology Center under construction. The Murano and The Comcast Center were completed in 2008. Crazy how many towers/highrises Philly has built in such a short time. Hope they keep coming!

More clues to Cira II?

The last image shows Cira II. Also, on the development map on the bottom, there is a red dot for Cira 2 under "planned or under construction" color coding.

Cira II - new thread created
We have some supporting evidence from the 30th Street district website of Brandywine proposing this and since we'll be receiving more information on this soon, I decided to go ahead and make a thread for it here:

Looks like they have a lot already set aside for cira 3 when they're ready.

Ahh gotcha. Yeah, I think once this area is built up Brandywine probably would want to level that block and build up. I would rather see the surrounding parking lots and underdeveloped lots bite the dust before this were to happen though.

yep the one thing that seems newerish is the FMC logo on the model

would be cool as a juxtaposition looking down JFK to see the station and the modern skyscraper rising behind

time will tell, all these buildings would need tenant which means somehow attracting jobs - none seem to get started without a tenant so the wait begins/continues IMHO

The view corridor looking down JFK towards 30th street now includes the brand new Summit tower at Drexel. It's not a shimmering 600+footer, but it definitely impacts that view.

I can still remember how the construction of the Wharton "round tower" at 38th and Walnut created a sense of the city's expansiveness (unlike any place I've been other than Manhattan, thanks to the rectilinear street grid) when viewed from the Rittenhouse Square area. The construction at Drexel does that to some degree, but a several hundred footer directly behind 30th would have a Park Avenue (Grand Central against the Pan Am/Met Life backdrop) effect. All we need to complete the effect is some construction closer up to JFK on both sides of the 20th to 29th St. viaduct.

There's already an organized effort to bring Open Streets to Philly beginning in 2016. Give the people what they want: https://www.change.org/p/jim-kenney-bring-open-streets-weekends-to-philly-in-summer-2016
