Huh... that Broadstone Terraces design is a lot more interesting than the one that was floating around before, but the fact that it's so insular at the street level makes me wonder if it's older. If it's the current one I wonder where they moved the office/common area to? It was on the corner of Juniper and 6th.

That isn't Broadstone Terraces that is the new development at the DRC a block south of Broadstone Terraces.

I dunno if it has been this way since they took down the crane, but I saw some crane parts erected at Modera again. Only a couple of the tower pieces stacked.

What a change for that intersection that would be! I like all three of the new Midtown projects.

There's a lot I love about Atlanta, but the architecture of intown mid and high rise apartment buildings built in the past 15 years wasn't one of them.

The latest crop of buildings is on another level...Peachtree at 3rd being probably my favorite example, but there are probably 10 other projects proposed or under construction that represent a clear step up in the level of the design in this city. It's very exciting to see.

I agree completely and I think the diversity of developers is helping to change the standard. In the past, it seemed that there was primarily the same 3 or 4 developers that would build anything south of Buckhead. Those days are now thankfully long gone.

I drove by this site today. I feel similarly about it - nothing fantastic - but I keep thinking it's going to surprise us when finished. the materials seem better than average and I like the east west orientation as it doesnt block as much sun. And its attention to details is nice imo. Are the penthouse patio railings blue?!

The retail parts look well done, I walk by it daily to get to Midtown Marta station. I think the pedestrian experience at W. Peachtree will be nice in this area once it is finished.
