There is no problem comparing the two cities (three cities) but what's the point when each city is different in it's own unique ways. I'm essentially saying economically and topographically among many other factors that each city is different. So your comparison is a fallacy.

This is a strange conversation (in my opinion). I'm fairly sure small floorplate slim condo towers are a direction the city pushes development. Its sort of what Vancouver is known for. As for me commenting on the immense size of this project, I feel I have the right to compare it to anywhere and anything I want. Toronto having more land does not make my statement false.
How about this? This project is huge. Much larger then most downtown Vancouver projects. Is this statement a fallacy? ......now if I were to say it reminds me a bit of the stantec construction site in Edmonton in size (which it does) Is it now a fallacy? Is it now apples to oranges? All I'm doing is comparing the scale of one thing to another, I never said one word about why or why not either place is/can build things of a certain size.....Its like you are adding some sort of subtext that isnt there.
