Yes. A school, an extension of the park and condos. I believe it is predominantly city owned land, and I am sure that they are waiting for a) funding and population to support the school and b) the opportunity to be the last waterfront lot on False Creek.

I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right thread or not and if its been mentioned before, but apparently this is gonna be on the Delta side of 90th and Scott Road.

It's a tossup between this and the Surrey/South Of Fraser thread.

The train tracks right across the street aren't exactly the biggest selling point...

Ackroyd Plaza Sells in $102M Deal

In one of Vancouver’s largest retail deals of the year, Ackroyd Plaza, a 6.8 acre strip retail centre at Ackroyd Road and No. 3 Road in Richmond, has sold to a local investor.

.....

The 106,000 SF plaza is currently zoned Downtown Commercial District allowing a maximum floor area ratio of 3.0. Richmond’s City Centre Area Plan designates the site as Urban Core (T6) and Village Centre which allows a maximum density of 4.0 FAR. The existing improvements are only built to a 0.36 floor area ratio, thus representing approximately 1,000,000 sq ft of residual density, therefore the purchase price was based more on the land value then the existing income. The cap rate was well below 3%.

They're taking forever on this one - the property was sold in 2012. The dedicated website has to be fairly new and has a few more tidbits of information. "Kings Crossing's pavilion-inspired, six-storey office building will meet three commanding residential towers, ranging from 26–36 storeys" and "Over 800 concrete view homes – including 1, 2 and 3-bedrooms, from 540 sq.ft. to 1,200 sq.ft."

Sweet I didn't realize there was a website finally up. I agree this has taken seemingly forever to get going but at least now things are moving along with the presentation centre that is under construction.

Can someone tell me where this would be, I am having the hardest time placing it. How can towers on the east side of North Road have SkyTrain going around them?

According to this press release, it's at North Road and Foster. Not sure if they'll be on the north or south side of Foster, however. That's Burquitlam Station behind the towers there.

Here's the (mostly useless) website: http://blueskyproperties.ca/lougheed/

Thanks, the guideway in the render just confused me. I thought the towers were standing where Lougheed Mall should be.

Black + Whites on Foster by Intracorp. Lots of townhomes/rowhomes. It's quite nice, actually.

The presentation centre is taking forever too. I can't remember exactly when they started it but it's still not completed (I walked over there today). I wouldn't be surprised if it's not open a month from now.

Value Village's lease is supposed to expire at the end of Nov. It's a pretty safe bet they'll get a year extension (again).

I'm looking forward to this project... Any estimated time when the construction will start?

A preview building has been constructed at Fremont Village in Port Coquitlam. Maybe they're finally getting ready to start selling the condo towers which are supposed to be going in there?
