Old pic from 2010 listed as 78 condo units...Any major changes to the concept your aware of( if approved) ?

Transportation and cities in North America changed drastically between 1850 and 1950. We've really only seen incremental change since then thus far. I don't think foreseeing a transformational change coming up in the next few decades is that extreme (or makes me a pinko).

That's the website from the failed condo project. Hasn't been updated or changed since 2010 when the project was scrapped.

Thanks for the link, much better views on the concept. I hope it passes the appeal process without to much opposition, it's a nice addition to the neighborhood.

EDIT: sorry, I'll have to retract this post if it's an entirely new concept. Hopefully someone has some recent information.

Awesome. I knew it had its own website, just grabbed the wrong one.

I'm into this project going ahead. I was recently in one of the buildings that's standing on the land where this is to be built, and it was in considerable decay. This should be a marked improvement.

Used to live on Roslyn although on the the other side of Osborne, It's a great improvement for the area in a unit/parking space ratio or should I say greatly needed in the area...car share is an added bonus

There's two cars (Peg City Car Co-op) on River east of Osborne already, adding another one on Roslyn should really help make it a very attractive option for Village residents.

I was in Calgary a few weeks ago and their car2go share seems to be immensely popular. I saw their smart cars parked all over downtown. I believe it's pretty flexible in how it works in that you can just grab anyone you see parked then drive it and park it in any approved spot when you're done.

Ofcourse one of them literally parked one ontop of my bumper when he had a tonne of space in front of him. The drawback of car shares I suppose is you can park like a jackass since you're not the one returning to the car.
