The enchanted Forest is a great place to get out and stretch your legs while driving, and let the kids run around. Mine certainly had fun. It's basically a display of various old nursery rhymes. Set in the forest on the side of a mountain.

I still love it, and it's great as a child, but as an adult it attains a kind of creepy freakshow vibe. At least I found so. I love the forest it's in too. The old Cedars are amazing!

Same old, lame oh. The kids still like it. I enjoy the cheeziness for about 5 minutes, then I want to leave.

Let's just be thankful that this thing isn't in either Canadian version. I think it's from Lake George in NY state at a place called the Magic Forest.



It would make more sense if it were part of a Stephen King theme park. The hands look like they are waiting for human sacrifices to be placed in them.

The worst part is where it describes the water in the tanks being so bad that a sea lion's eye popped out of its head because it's eye had deteriorated, and dolphins losing chunks of skin.

Apparently Mr. Potato Head likes to shoot the animals that need to be euthanized from the comfort of his truck without bothering to check and see if they are actually dead. Then when an employee calls to tell him it's not, he gets them to finish the job with a dull knife and bury them in the mass grave of dead animals hidden on the side of the park.

I don't have a picture of it but I saw some douchehole in a pickup drive by with a giant Confederate flag waving from the bed of his truck at lunch today. One of the ugliest things I have seen in a while.

I've seen a couple tractor trucks with with the southern cross on their bras. That was ugly too.

I don't get it. You can't argue it's a heritage thing as we're not from the southern United States. Even if you were it's racist. The fundamental reason for the flag's creation was the fight to maintain slavery. Fucking redneck idiots! This is where I draw the line, leave Storeybook Gardens alone!

It a great place for the kids, well maintained, in beautiful Springbank Park, and is cheezy in a good, wholesome, and memory inducing way.

Storeybook Gardens really has kept to it's original purpose of being a fun kids place that hasn't tried to anything it's not by bringing in new "concepts" but rather good old fashioned kids fun. It invokes the day when kids still had imagination and violence and coarse language was not a requirement in entertainment. It's a good old Norman Rockwell kind of place and is a lovely reprieve from the city.

I like to think of myself as open minded but before warned MolsonExport, any bad talk of wonderful Storeybook Gardens and the gloves are off!

I'll be visiting family around Halloween in Boucherville. It will be interesting to see if Longueuil is as ugly still as I remember. Out of curiosity can anyone tell me what kids say when they go door to door for candy? It can't be Trick or Treat.
