The glass on this building is amazing. It has a kind of liquid silver effect to it.

^^ Beautiful shot Mike. I don't think any renders have done justice for the skin of this building.

First time I'm seeing this new (?) model of the proposed Cira II. That's great and everything, but what I really want to know is whether this means FMC will have a lighting scheme on/behind the glass curtain as it appears in this model. Anyone have inside scoop?

Well, considering the built buildings, Cira and Evo aren't lit as shown in the model, I would assume FMC won't either. I think the model is lit that way for dramatic effect.

If you look closely they seem to be showcasing an actual lighting concept on the building's facade: pencil thin, horizontal light stripes that randomly Morse code their way up and down the building.

Yeah, I think that might actually be the lighting scheme. I'd like that, it's different than what we've got now.

Yes, that's what I'm referring to. This is clearly an updated model (updated FMC, actual Evo, updated Cira II), so I don't know why they would include the horizontal bars on FMC unless they were a late update to the tower.

Wonder if any of the folks working on the site can chime in here with a definitive answer...

is Cira II actually gonna happen? Anyone know...or even know more about that building? having the 4 (Cira, Cira south, Evo, and Cira II) together would really make the site iconic. Like a collection of crystals jutting out of the neo-classical rock

My blurry, grainy, out of focus pic of the skyline.
(Hey, I was in my car with my cell phone camera.)
Just to get a perspective of how far the skyline stretches out
with FMC and The Summit in the view.

^^^Soon we'll be begging for that newly formed gap to be filled by Cira II.

I'm not too sure of that, given the angles, but we'll see. Whether they're visible or not, what I thought was an impressive view when I was a kid is off the charts now.

In that light, it looks like the liquid Terminator from T2.
