and now in the sun... Quite a bit a green tinge, but part of that is my iPhone. It didn't look that green in real life, but there is a hint of green for sure.

I too noticed the green tinge when the cladding was in the sun yesterday! Very disappointing! 56 stories of green tingeing is going to look pretty gross!!! "Jolly Green Giant" or what. Go see for yourselves.

It's not as green as it is in the pics, and some days it barley looks green. I think this tower will end up looking like 300 North Lasalle in Chicago - a cross between light green and light metallic.

300 North Lasalle? The curtainwall design couldn't be more different.

This is some excellent over-reaction.

I think we should just shut er' down and bulldoze the site.

The shadow box definitely would have looked better. All in all it doesn't look terrible because of the slight green. It's not like it's the Trans Canada tower or something.

I'm talking about the green tinge. I think it will be similar in color, in that it will look greenish in certain lighting.. The point being not to panic about a bit of green.

Look at this pic of 300 N Lasalle.

From Wikipedia https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:300_North_LaSalle_in_2011.JPG

and then look at the same pic closer up near the bottom.

Love 300 N. LaSalle....I like the indentation on the East and West sides! I kind of wish that Brookfield had kind of a break like where the mechanical floors (I'm assuming) that start on about the 40th floor of 300 N. LaSalle.

Talk about "over reaction" to my "over reaction"! Let's just take a wait and see attitude. Time and "sun" will tell.

Calgary has its own 300 N LaSalle with a similar indentation on the side.

Calgary also has a tower with a similar facade to 300 North LaSalle. Unfortunately, Calgary's version looks like it was purchased at Biway.

I know you are refering to the colour but, there are a lot of greenish glass towers to choose from that aren't framed in a ton of stainless steel. That's what gives the metallic appearance too.

Walk past 300 North LaSalle a hundred times or more. Probably has something to do with it.

I don't get the reference or your apparent hatred of EAP. It's those damn mullions again isn't it?!?
