This is essentially on the same block as the "zombie chic" apartment building which is slated to be built. So the block will have two large apartment buildings with two ugly remuddled storefronts in between. Worked out well, it should be a nice street wall at least.
There's a lot of cool stuff in the ZBA hearing for October.
1. Lawrenceville hotel at 40th street is finally going somewhere.
2. Four new infill houses at the corner of Stanton and Mellon in East Liberty.
3. Conversion of an office building near Heinz Lofts into apartments.
Looking over some older ones, it looks like
this old industrial building in Bloomfield may be turned into 17 units of housing.
