Thanks for the pics.

The NORDSTROM blade sign looks good.
I wonder if the tiles will be backlit?

A project insider indicated that the corner sign will involve a lighting feature.

Granville Street twitter (Aug 28th post) suggested it would be neon - but not sure how that might be.

Here's the sign lit up.

There's white neon that goes around the edge. in this shot, only part of the neon is lit.

note sure why it wasn't showing, but it should be working now. It's not the pacific centre sign, it's the blade on the howe st. side.

Thanks!
I can see it now.

The renderings also showed NORDSTROM signs on the awning at Robson & Howe and on the awning near Robson & Granville.
I wonder if those have been axed?

One pic shows an LED art piece next to the escalators - I saw that one night - looks good (may change colours?)

Considering they're still attaching signs to the building, no I don't think I'd classify it as complete.

Considering the office and retail tenants have had occupancy for like 2 months now it is complete. Attaching a sign up doesn't cause a building to be "under construction" lol

Exciting times for retail, particularly department stores, as they roll out new concepts in Western Canada, like having cool in-house cafes and chic restaurants. I'm glad that Nordstrom is a trend-setter, and hopefully the Bay and Holt Renfrew can catch up. There hasn't been a modern department store/mall eatery with a city view until now: cool!
