...and you guys were worried about SLC's track record. This all looks promising and professional.

Brilliant. Very minimalist. Here's hoping they bring the same design standards to this building that they brought to this website.

I'm assuming they haven't launched the website yet which means we'll probably hear a media announcement about the project and website launch soon.

Right, but when you put up a teaser sign telling people to go to a website that doesn't exist it looks like amateur hour.

Haha. Website is still not launched - maybe after the loong weekend?!

Hell, I'm no Don Draper, but I agree with Boxbot -- you gotta have that site up, running, and looking smooth before you go posting your fancy advertisements.

Article from Philly Mag

Not much new info that we don't already know. Clearly someone from Philly Mag reads this site

This silhouette is a little interesting. Is the building in the center with the spire supposed to be Liberty 1? Is it possible the outline of 1911 Walnut is visible here?

Based on the apparent lack of detail with the website yesterday, it's more likely this is just a generic skyscape rather than something with deeper meaning. This skyline doesn't look like Philadelphia from any angle I know of.

I think that 1911 Walnut is visible in the red splotch.

Is it just me, or does that red thing look like a giant insect attacking the city?

Looks like a blood splotch to me. Very strange marketing to get this building started....

Would make a great movie poster for "Murder on the Square."

Yes, good eye! OR, if you stare long enough at it, you'd swear it was Betty White on (Golden Girls) playing sock puppets.

AND,
Yes, I was one of those (idiots) who instantly ran to the website to look. (Bummer)

The web site isn't working at all now. Perhaps it's down due to a plethora of renderings being uploaded...

Who needs renderings when you have 404 errors and gratuitous paint splatter?
