I like the roof lights. hate the blue waterery lights. looks cheesy. I hope their is different patters/colours.

Looks amazing! While I think the stadium looks bland during the day it certainly comes to life at night which makes sense since its dark when most people will be around it (at night for games/concerts).

If you don't make it as dystopian then that look could work, I.e. with the clear roof and some green roof element. That look would play into the "Toronto" style which locals would sorta understand. It would give it a almost greenhouse kind of look and if the reno is done right would then the SkyDome into another modern type of structure.

First though. Dirt infield.

the ducks one is the worst.

it looks awkward having the middle portion bigger than end portions. it's like they tried to do one of those mammoth rectangular ones and never had the money. why not just build something symmetrical like the leafs did.

Im so glad the CDN arenas haven't followed that rectangular trend.

^ Yeah, the Ducks' scoreboard is just awkward. The symmetry and elegant curves of the ACC's model makes me think that the Leafs' new board is the best of the lot, although MTSC and Videotron are not far behind.

The Ducks looks pretty bulky and cheap. The leafs looks like a cross between the Jets and the Videotron so it might be my favorite as well. It looks like it has a Leaf inside that lights up like the Jets one.

They can put any pattern they want. It's one of the advantage of having a white canvas to work with. Here's another one:

wow those outside lights and projections are impressive. especially the dry ice look.

this is different than the norm of arena exteriors. and different is good

I like his writing style, I enjoy reading his stuff sometimes, but he is so myopic.

I did love this... you know, given the NP's HQ and you know, the sold out Skydome and all and how it has brought all of Toronto, nay Canada together.

It's not a bad idea, and I'm sure the people of Oshawa felt great about their team's Memorial Cup run this year. That was in keeping with the spirit of that idea.

But when that sentiment is being used to extract what basically amounts to nine-figure ransoms from already strapped governments, well then, any intelligent individual will see the con game for what it is.
