Man, that'd be awesome if Winnipeg could get that. Sweet design, other than that blank, non-lit space at the top, which is a bit jarring.

They've built a few already in similar locations on that stretch of the QEW between Hamilton and St. Catherines. I think the proximity to the highway is a big part of the appeal.

^Nice hotel design! I like the "oval" shape, the balconies, waterfront location, wood features, patios, etc... Makes it very "tropical/resort" feel.. Does anyone know which brand of Hotel it will be? Will it actually be "Westcorp Hotel"?

Speaking of NYC.. its in an extreme building boom right now & with under construction developments coming to completion in the next couple/3 years it's putting the next few largest construction exerting cities in North America to shame.

The Calgary proposal is nice, and tall. Wouldn't mind a proposal like that in Toronto in the east or west end of downtown.

While it is a nice tower we have enough like that already. It's time for a change of direction and building materials when it comes to condo design.

I wouldn't want this in the east end where the quality tends to be higher. I don't think it's that great. Don't really care about the west side It's Cumberland Terrace from 10 years ago. North York quality. Not the direction to take downtown.
