I was walking by this quickly today, and I have to say I was really impressed with the quality of the cladding materials. The roof on the heritage section looks, as far as I could tell, to be real copper. They were working on the cladding for the ground level on the lower corner, and it was real granite slabs that they were cutting to install. I like how this has some together, and nice to see a developer use some high quality real materials and not just pre-fab look-alike!

This is greatly appreciated. I have been wondering for some time how this looked at street level.

I think that it looks as good as can be expected, especially since only one heritage building still existed before the expansion took place.

This is probably one of my favourite developments of late. One of the few (with Sister Site as a counterpoint) where the choice of cladding materials greatly exceeded my expectations.

I think this is my favorite development project in recent memory. High-quality, but understated. New and old are distinct but complementary.

I am very impressed with the facade restoration and incorporation on the Granville St side of the building. In 5-10 years, Granville Street will be so much less bleak than it is now. What with the backside of the Green Lantern and the Roy, and hopefully the Dennis as well?

It looks different from what you'd expect of a bank tower in ANY city, IMO.

Except Kitchener. For some reason I could really see this building looking totally-in-place in Kitchener.

The ground level is so close to being completed on this one. The photovoltaic glass canopies have all been installed over the sidewalks and the lights are now on at night.

The fence along Granville looks like its ready to come down any day now.

A nice copper detail was added to hid the natural gas intake line.
