Yeah - it actually looks like a classy hotel in that light.

This one's actually kind of nice except when I first saw the flags on the right hand side they reminded me of the flags the nazis put up at rallies.

The in-fill out in these areas, wow...

But, you can see from that StreetView the type of people who were prepared to live in these buildings. So the planners went full suburban to attract "better" folks:

That is horrible. Why even have the driveway without a lawn or a garage? Park it on the street.

I don't mind the building to be quite honest (It's 10 minutes from my house.)

It doesn't look too bad from the lake it sits on either:

"Honey, we're not animals."

It's a status thing.

They actually think that double-wide makes them equal to these folks because they too don't have to park on the street:

If that fugly asphalt mess is a status symbol in St. John's then I'm very confused...

It does remind me of the infamous Calgary uni-driveway though.

Haha! Reminds me of that episode where the acme plant is processing whole pine trees to produce one toothpick. I think the Simpsons had a similar skit but it was to produce bowling pins.

I apologize if I have posted it before (can't remember), but Gatineau police headquarters is definitely Laval-worthy. It's also 5 minutes from my place.

Gatineau police headquarters is very comforting. I feel like I could get cheap gas and a Diet Pepsi there.

I'd just like to point out that I - ME - I resisted the urge to respond to this rhetorical question with a book of information and pictures.

I've been giddy with pride for the past three beer...
