Fellow avgeeks, looking at booking a trip over Spring break 2016. Should I purchase now or wait a little longer? Any guesses on if the fares will change much?

YYC-PTY (obviously with stops along the way since no non-stop exists).

I think WestJet screwed this one up by not making a big deal of the 767 arrival. The flight should have been delayed until this afternoon. Get the news cameras there and all. Not sure if the pic in this link is at YYC but a good rundown of the aircraft and the plans for it.

Disagree, with the delays in getting the aircraft here WS needed to get this aircraft to YYC safely and asap. Now training can continue for all involved with the actual aircraft so they can get it into service on the YYC-YYZ flights by September 5th and then get things like the ETOP's certification done for the Hawaii flights this winter.

Fancy photo ops and photo flights can come later, for 99% of the general public they could care less this plane arrived under the cover of darkness.

Yay!
The black glare brow at the cockpit windows are a nice touch from their 737s.
Otherwise can't wait to see it fly during its training sorties.
A huge gamble that I'm sure will pay out handsomely, especially since International markets is where the money really begins to flow.

They pulled it in as far as they could. The wingspan is too big to get through the door. The nose was about half way to the back of the hangar bay. And the tail would definitely be too tall to get in even if the door was wide enough.

If any of you are on Periscope, Westjet hosted a few videos of the 767 coming in and one of the interior. Thought they were neat, minus the awkward narration.

Don't know where they got this from, but BNN says they'll be doing YYZ-LGW.

BNN is confusing WS an AC. Both have announced LGW but only AC has confirmed the Canadian side, which is YYZ starting May 2016. was will likely announce there TrasmAt destinations and schedule in late September.
