Is kind a weird to see inside of the "U" white instead of black like the outside. Is kind a hard to imagine right now. I wonder how will this colour contracts turn out when is completed.

Also, can't wait to see that fish bowl get put in.

Does anyone know if there are problems cleaning those types of vents shown?

For my building, the dryer vent grills were replaced with a flip-out baffle and hood a few years after completion. The baffle/hood also allows cleaners to access the duct to blow out lint (which you see flying about whenever they do it).

I have no problem cleaning mine (which looks very similar) but accessibility is key. I have my dryer vent on the ceiling of my balcony so it's very easy for me to have a go at it with the vacuum occasionally. Once in a long while I unscrew it and remove the grill and clean it. If the dryer vent is not easily accessible then the baffle/hood makes sense. A seriously clogged dryer vent can cause the dryer motor to overheat and possibly catch fire. My sister in Calgary found that out the hard way.

This is some of the best glass and spandrel in the city. Super stoked on this one - bit of a sleeper for me, but massive surprise to the upside.

I live in the OV area and this building looks great from this side of the Creek. With Arc I think that this area of NE False Creek will block out some of the Yaletown blandness and really add some diversity to the skyline from this side of the city.

I assume you mean False Creek.

I noticed that the people in this building will have a great view of the water and Cooper's Park if they are on the right side of the building. Should be a nice area when it gets built out.

The casino is still going at a snail's pace though.

It's quite unnoticable at least from Cambie Bridge. It neither caught my eye when I cycled the Seawall few days ago, but a photo would be interesting to see before judging.
