Has the 'Skyfront' moniker beed dropped in favour of 'ONE'? Hope not, Skyfront sounded somewhat original.

Don't know about that, but they definitely seem to be upping the upscale amenities game with personal shopping and star chef on demand!

Yeah, nothing will be blocking this view from top of this tower as far as any existing Downtown masterplans go. This is the building I would buy in, if I would have the money.

View from the top has it all.

How did you get up there to take that photo anyway? It's not even built yet.

It doesn't look like they're sparing any expense for the temporary sales centre.

http://www.vancouversun.com/news/11371522/story.html?__lsa=d59a-e4cf

"A multiple award-winning developer and Canada's second-largest privately held company are joining forces to transform the largest site in downtown Vancouver into the most significant residential real estate offering the city has seen in years.

Called Burrard Place, this multi-tower, mixed-use development, which includes two residential towers, will start to take shape later next year on a site situated within Burrard, Hornby and Drake streets. When complete, the $500-million development will be home to 700-plus residences, and a third 13-storey office tower, with 270,000 square feet of space for rent and for sale. The first project to break ground is One Burrard Place, a 60-storey tower that will be the third highest in the city, behind the Shangri-La and Trump Tower."

If you read the not-so-fine print, that "article" was paid for by the developer. It's an ad.

Judging by the render on the hoarding around the site it's the one you posted.

I suspect that's just because the rendering of the complex as a whole is just too large (i.e. too big a scale)

So the tallest tower will go up first. Do we have any idea about the schedule for the second tower or the office tower? Was there supposed to be also a third residential tower (I don't mean the one planned where the 7/11 is) or am I just confused?

The 3rd tower is the Toyota office building.
There's no 3rd residential tower - other than the 7-11 one (micro suites, black with gaping red orifices)
