Now assuming the crane in the far left side of the picture is FMC, why is it so far from the St. James, which is also on Walnut. Is that how far 23 blocks skews the angle? You can see that the CITC is aligns almost perfectly with the Comcast Center, but those two buildings are so close together. You wouldn't think that a picture taken directly from the east would give those illusions.
I tried quoting this post/picture after I already posted my last comment but couldn't find a way to do so in "edit" mode. This is one of those epic pictures anyway, so happy to repost.

Yep, it's the angle at which the picture was taken. The two cranes on the left of the picture are for FMC. You can see 10 Ritt too and it is skewed to look like it is south of St. James when they are both on Walnut.

Yes. If it were a dead-on westward shot, we wouldn't see the south face of the Comcast Center.
^^That's some SUPER SHOTS of the steel trusses! I think many of us will be watching this closely!
That last photo, I think that construction worker is looking down at you, and saying —?
Thanks for posting these AJM!
That sunset shot from Cooper River Park is AMAZING. It is not like that park is actually near Center City either. It is quite a few miles away. And if you took that photo again with FMC built, how prominent it would be ALL THE WAY on the Schuylkill River on the other side of Center City!
Took several pictures this afternoon as the curtain wall is gaining some momentum. The glass looks great and the angles should prove to be interesting.
Evo's glass curtain from afar doesn't do it justice, but if you see it up close and personal, it's actually attractive and detailed. It makes the building look sophisticated. I personally like it as a very modern and sophisticated looking building.
Summers, the picture of the sun is absolutely stunning. Really. How you've captured the sun, the water, the rowers and the skyline is really great.
What kind of camera did you use to capture that photo?
It's not summers' photo--he just posted it from flickr (see the hyperlink in his post below the photo). The camera info can be found below the photo on its flickr page (look at the right column below the photo for full details on settings, etc.):
