I know I know. It just seems so terrible that these hotels' locations end up isolating their visitors from the real city and taint their experience of the place so badly. Until this trip I had always looked at the hotels by the airport in Calgary and wondered who the hell stayed at them, feeling sad and embarrassed if that was their only experience of Calgary. Now I know the truth. Cheap work travel.
