I too am happy there is residential coming to that empty lot. I personally feel there should be more residential close to our civic center...it just makes sense.

But I believe they missed the mark on the design and height. With the Grand and Little America's so close by, I would hope they could have a set back height of 8 to 11 floors. 6 floors is better than 3 or 4...yes, but I really think having higher residential right across from the Grand would help integrate the building into our south skyline better.

Now I dont know the Zoning for the area...,so I could be way off. Its just my opinion and hope for this area of downtown that has allot of lack luster personality, for lack of a better term than...blight.
