Sorry, but your analysis is flawed. You're comparing apples to oranges by looking at month-over-month growth. Ridership always grows between January and June, as the weather gets nicer and people use the system more to go out and go on trips. Weekday ridership has only grown 2.2% year-to-date this year. Here's the true year-over-year growth for the system by month:
