^ Most of those other uses are trivial (apart from the Rams) and don't really factor into the equation.

Still a revenue generator as it will have to be rented out. Not as big as football, but at least it IS being used, therefore generating revenue. Not to mention being the "new" facility in the city it will have higher rates just for the prestige of the venue I would imagine.

That's not terrible pricing for the upper bowl. at 41-games that is $52/game. REALLY reasonable for NHL!

^our current seats are 5 rows from the top of the second bowl, renewal in rogers will be almost identical.

But wow, loge and a few others... going to need to work some corporate boys

Yeah, wow.

You honestly wonder at what point people will just say sorry guys, it's just not worth it to spend nearly the equivalent of a plane fare to another city to sit in a loge watching a bunch of guys bang around the ice for a few hours.

Regular season NHL games are entertaining, but are they really $400 a head entertaining? I'm not saying they aren't, but I could think of a lot of better ways to spend that kind of scratch myself. Considering how much tax cash is going into that new place, a lot of people will never have a hope of affording a ticket to get in there.

On a related note, the arena looks like a beauty.

Yes, that's true, there are the back rows of the 2nd level.

Meanwhile in Florida, C$54 per game gets you a ST row 3 behind the goalie, or in the corner if you prefer.

Be prepared to hand over at least $1,950 for the season. Or, if you’re feeling really flush with cash, you could get an exclusive seat in a “theatre” box in the new arena for $23,000.

The Edmonton Oilers released a 64-page ticket pricing and seat location guide Friday. It includes 38 price points for tickets.

Want an extra-wide, 22-inch seat in the lower bowl? That will cost you at least $5,310, an almost $500 jump over the price of a basic lower bowl season ticket.

LOL @ almost $3K per season for the right to sit on a bar stool with a beer during a hockey game, at least with the nose bleeds you will get a comfy seat, what a joke.

That "Drink Rail" section sounds like the biggest scam around. Essentially putting a price conourse railing which used to be GA or just part of the general space of the arena. IMO worst value of the arena, I woudl rather just fork over a few more hundreds and upgrade my seat placements.

"exclusive access to the bar" ... to buy overpiced Budwiser.

Why don't they mention you get first dibs at the urinals to beat the intermission lines ups as thats the only advantage those stools will have.

they sell those drink rail seats at the current Rexall place.... nothing new... just more of them now I believe

Thats not bad IMO, it sounds basically like GA. That isn't what a family should do but if you and your budies want to go watch a game last minute you can go get some rail tickets and just have drinks.

I view it no different then getting bottle service at a bar but the idea of trying to package those up as a season package is joke.

Standing room was more in the 45-50 last yr I believe and yes, no seat.

As a 25 year old that sky lounge caught my eye. Unlimited food and non alchohalic beverages AND it turns into a night club afterwards. Thats a really neat idea. Some Clubs in the GTA charge 20$ just to get in.

Edmonton needs it to attract talent where Calgary doesn't. A cookie cutter version of videotron centre with some southern Alberta charm will be perfectly fine for the flames
