I've noticed this with the Telus Garden too... What's with the exposed ceilings?

It's a new trend in design, most tech companies go for that look,

Strange door placement.
One set of double doors in the middle - and one single door on the side.

Perhaps they are temporary doors for construction

Thanks for pics. So the building is finished aside from some tenant improvements?

What did they end up doing with the corner of robson and granville? Is there a screen there?

Here's a closer look at those doors on Granville, near Robson.

Nope, not yet. Just the same flat sign that's been there for a while now.

4 weeks? Better be pulling some overtime.

I thought it was always September?

Probably 4 weeks construction - the balance would be stocking racks and shelves?

The ceiling looks good!
The floors are complete - just covered by plywood to protect them...

Smart how they closed the new mall entrance to install the glass on the awning - post-opening, huh?

Would you prefer they delayed the opening until after the glass was installed? Yes, it was smart.

Ron.

Ron,
You would think they could put those few glasses up before mall hours and avoid closing the entrance. Or do it so they could keep one door open

There is going to be a lot of work happening on that corner still so expect it to be closed from time to time going forward.

And just a heads up, it's not going to be a video screen. It will be a lighting feature though, should look pretty good.

That is disappointing, but expected.

In the weeks leading up to the corner entrance / mall opening, they meticulously installed the awning everywhere along Granville except at the corner entrance.

And it's still not completely installed at the corner - as of yesterday.

That ledge is getting well used now by people wanting to park their butts for a bit.
