I sure would like to see the buses move, however with working Bay doors at a new Canadian Tire and passing buses, there would surly be a safety issue with that.

My guess is that Pet Culture will stay as is for a bit longer, would they under go yet another renovation after not so long finishing one? maybe?

Also has anyone heard more about Dodge superstore? I've noticed there newly purchases lot near Hampton is full of cars...but no shovels in the ground?

Yes.

Unless the city get's serious about building a proper transit facility on Plaza Blvd, then the NW terminal should definitley go back to the Northwest Centre.

I don't imagine Canadian Tire would be as picky about this as Target was.

Last I heard they are waiting on the final stamp of approval for something I din't understand what they had to wait for but shovels should be in the ground soon.

What I seen the garage bay doors would be on the side of the building like at Walmart with it's own separate parking area so there would be no issues there.

They've erected the frame for a large sign in front of Bass Pro Shop facing the traffic circle.

Also, they've started painting a Bass Pro Shop sign on the back of the store (facing Paul St).

I had stated before from what I was told there waiting for the final stamp of approval needed, and hoping that something will happen soon... Not certain what this missing stamp of approval was for tho.

The Mapleton Centre has (finally) updated their website.

Here is the new site plan for the Mapleton Centre:

Of note, there is now a planned "Building E" between Goodlife and Bombay. I'm not surprised by this at all. It would make a good location for a coffee shop or small food emporium.

Just got word they will be building a second Starbucks in Dieppe, somewhere along Acadie Ave.

Actually, if true, this would be Dieppe's 4th Starbucks (if you include Champlain Place and Chapters).

Meanwhile, Moncton has only three Starbucks and Riverview nada.

I'm still hopeful we'll see another Starbucks somewhere along Mapleton Road someday however, perhaps in the Mapleton Centre or at Mapleton Crossing. Given all the high end retail going on along Mapleton, and the high traffic volumes, this would seem a natural fit........

Moncton might be seeing 5 actually... There is one that is assumed for Mapleton Road , and another is assumed for the Shediac Rd commercial/residential expansion either on Shediac Rd. or on Harisville Blvd. with all the possible commercial expansion surrounded by new residential.

I'm still not a fan of Starbucks. I'd much rather see another Second Cup. It's Canadian and in my opinion, the coffee tastes better.

It's true, my girlfriends mom used to manage the mountain road one and now manages the Elmwood one. I asked her about Riverview and she said she didn't know where they would put it. She said it would not be at the Irving where the McDonalds had been proposed.
