Someone needs to take a shot with a good zoom lens from south of Jasper up to the arena, it is such a neat shot right now with the steel up and arches going in.

It looks that way. "Blue line" trusses.

Premium parking at Rogers Place could come at a premium price

BY GORDON KENT, EDMONTON JOURNAL JULY 11, 2015 8:02 AM

EDMONTON - Oilers fans could face a slapshot to their wallets next year if they want to leave their vehicles in comfort at Rogers Place.

A survey the team sent to season ticket holders this week asks if they’d pay $35 a game for heated, underground parking a five-minute walk, or 400 metres, from the arena.

Five other options range from $30 for above-ground parking within a five-minute walk, to $15 for a surface stall five to 10 minutes, or up to 800 metres, away.

Isn't Rexall parking $16-18 or thereabouts now?

35 bucks for parking!!!! Thats crazy. Our season tickets also went up 25%. Ironically we were going to give up our tickets this year. We could not even give tickets away to clients last year. But with the management changes and some guy named Connor things changed

25%???

Ours went up maybe 3%.

$35 ain't that much for premium heated parking.
