Thanks! I think it is intentional, as there is a large window facing south. It does look a bit clumsy, I have to agree.

Here are some closeups of the places where the fins seem to be missing. I think I see clips for the fins so I don't think they're done yet. And it'll sure be nice once they give that glass a good washing.

Oh, I just noticed a couple of other places that might be missing sections of fins. You can see them in the lower left of the first pic.

Thanks for those close-ups, I think you are right! That is good news as the building will look the better the uniform it is.

I was having another look at my own photo, and does that scream BIG CITY or what? To all of those thinking we are just a small fishing village.

Here's a look at the door on West Hastings Street and a peek into the lobby through the glass. I'm wondering how it will be in the winter when we have a heavy rain with wind and all the water comes sheeting down the side of the building and runs off that flared part just above the entrance area.

Yeah, they've said there won't be a sign at the top of the tower, so those should be for more fins.

Nice to hear there will be no sign. The Shaw sign is the most ridiculously large sign down here, that should not have been approved next to residential towers.

Anyway, here is a shot of the roof taken today, there is still one small section they have not filled in yet.

Here you go. Need a wider angle to get all the way to the ground, but this shows a nice reflection of the Marine building on the east face and the Fairmont pool and conference center green roof on the north face.
