So if you take 767' as the elevation for Towers I and II and subtract 138 feet, you get the building height, in this case 629 feet, +/-.

I guess 55 storeys could fit into that.

I figured it out in feet, anyway. missbailey informed us that at Lougheed and at Willingdon is about 138 feet. I subtracted 138feet from the Tower III
listed height and got 597 feet. That's over 150m unless I am mistaken.

Not sure if its been posted - base for a third crane is now in place close to where Tower 2 will stand.

I'm so excited to see this mall concept some together, and to see the towers begin to rise. Its going to be an absolute game changer for the region.

Wont be able to miss them - thats for sure.

Only if there is people buys into for it... otherwise there is no point to rush. After all there are so many other choices available.

Tower 1 Crane
Mall Crane
Tower 2 crane now up.

It also seems that at this pace the mall should be at ground level by summer time.

Cant wait to until the tower hits standard floor plates, so we can see it starting to rise at a rapid pace.

It's 'only' 5km away but it's not a quick trip on transit or by road either considering the number of stoplights and traffic at peak hours.

At present, this is, of course, the case for the immediate future.
I think that when Brentwood is all built out, there could well be a significant market population there to bring in such stores as mentioned.
Might take a little while, but I'm sure it'll happen. (in fact, I can't see most of it not happening)

I find these larger projects mesmerizing. If I had the time, give me a chair, I would sit and watch. Hey they now show live computer games matches on TV networks. How about "Builds", more exciting than golf and CSPAN! Think of the play by play.

Website puts time to YVR at 48mins. I am curious about their time estimate. I wonder if they have padded the time for transfers?

Thanks for the pics. Oh man that's brutal, haha. I'm all for a good render with fake storefronts, but this looks kinda goofy. Nevertheless, if the fake retailers are a hint at the type of brands they want to attract, then here are some names:

AllSaints, Anthropologie, Banana Republic, Club Monaco, Free People, kate spade, MAC, Michael Kors, MUJI, Sporting Life, Stuart Weitzman, Urban Outfitters, Zara. Also Earl's, Eataly, JJ Bean, Starbucks, Cineplex, Yyoga.

Obviously they may not even get one of these, but it's fun to speculate anyway.

PS - This makes me think of The Grove, but with towers.

Adding a movie theatre, restaurant(s) and a fitness place into the retail mix is a good plan. Also places that sell something other than women's clothes - there seem to be a million of them, how can they all survive?

PS MAC has ruled ever since having Dame Edna as a spokesmodel.
