Got a chance to check out the top of the new East section of BMO Field about 15mins before kickoff, the view looked great and could see all the action clearly (pic below). What surprised me was we could still see the CN tower from much of the West section, though you could only see the rest of the skyline from the concourses. Food/drinks were a nice step up from the previous upgrades, washrooms were super convenient and plentiful.

BMO may have looked temporary, but it was never built to be a temporary stadium.

I like the look of new BMO. Has a more big league feel to it. Will look even better once the 3 roofs are built during the next off-season. As for the empty corners, maybe that's something they fill in once they determine the seat configuration for the Argos (assuming they move in).

Questions for those who have attended new BMO. Are the concourses of adequate width? How wide are the general seats? 19 inches, 20 inches, 21 inches? Are the new concessions serving any different food or beer items than before?

Some have mentioned the stadium in HOuston as their favorite in MLS. My money is on Sporting PArk in KC. That is a quality building and it has won a few awards as well.

Space wise the seats were comfortable, I didn't hear any complaints and there were a few "voluminous" guys around us (thankfully the women were not

) and the concourses were adequate for the crowds, I like an intimate feel so as long as its not packed shoulder to shoulder I'm always comfortable. That being said, my only complaint is the parking as there's a bit of a lineup to get out of the parking lot.
Food was fine, enough variety, didn't try the fancier items like kimchi fries or prawns:

The drinks were the best part as there was a huge selection that I can't even remember, everything from mango juice to weird beer brands i can't pronounce.

MLSE announced if they identify the guys they'll be banned from MLSE venues. Same with anyone who does so in the future.

OK, but seriously... I really don't buy the "boys will be boys" justification for stuff like this.

I've been to tons of sporting events with a few drinks in me and I've never done stuff like that.

Just as I don't buy the contemporary excuse that little boys aren't made to sit at a desk at school for most of the day.

I and most of my friends could sit at a desk just fine, and some of them weren't exactly the calmest kids. But they friggin' sat at their desks because that was what was expected of them.

Modern society is Excuse Central.

Had to laugh at one of the responses to this story that is really picking up steam. Someone said that they are facing a lifetime ban from TFC games.

The response was that was more of a reward than a punishment

Couldn't agree more. The "boys will be boys" argument is just a dumb way of trying to sweep the real problem of casual sexism under the rug. This shouldn't be tolerated in 2015.

His Salary was $107,000 per year. He won't make that much on unemployment Insurance, but he'll be ok, until he can find his next job (not 100k that's for sure!)

He was on the Government Sunshine List.
