They are 90% complete on the stadium renovations for this year. However they have begun to dig the holes for the support columns for the stadium roof.

I am actually looking forward to the Argos moving in there out of sheer spite for guys like this. When the Argos park at BMO for a few years, it won't matter if the seats are red or the soap dispensers have TFC stickers on them. Football fans just don't give a crap about that stuff.
Keep reading. Kurt Larson has actually been largely supportive of CFL to BMO. He is often talking down the crazies on Twitter who are continuously freaking out.

Oilkountry, I don't see your idea of shrinking the TFC pitch happening. As has been stated, TFC comes first, and they would never be supportive of shrinking to 110 feet. Bigger the better in soccer, and if TFC comes first, then it won't happen.

You have been banned for the following reason:
The RPB Forums are for MLS fans and Toronto FC Supporters specifically. And your remark about our collective ignorance is much more indicative of your bias and arrogance than anything else.

Date the ban will be lifted: Never

This is because I said that what Argos are pulling in at rogers centre closely resembles the capacity of BMO before the Reno's and reminded them that 5 years ago the double blue fan base could fill a 30k BMO. After one member told me that Nobody supports the Argos in Toronto. I didn't even get a chance to be ignorant! 2 posts and gone!I was actually really polite

The facts don't matter. In their world TFC is like Real Madrid or Man. Utd., everybody loves them, and anyone who disagrees is a troll who should be banned. Don't disrupt their dream world, oil.

Doesn't sound much different than this forum with regards to the CFL.

Who has been banned for anti-CFL comments?

There are phrases to describe the mentality of the red patchers, but unfortunately they cannot be used here in accordance with the terms of service.

There is a huge difference, pitchforks aren't drawn if you mention TFC in a good light on this forum. You aren't banned and labeled as a troll if you support a soccer specific stadium on this forum or voice your support of TFC. Views and opinions are allowed to be expressed without perescution unlike the RPB.

Even other sports forum like the CFL forum or the Voyageurs forum(CSA soccer) are more open to people expressing differing opinions and its OKAY to have differing views on a subject on those forums. You don't get banned and labeled a troll for supporting two sports.

It seems to be part of the TFC fan culture that you have to be completely paranoid and believe that fans of other sports are out to get you. It's rather clownish.

So take this for what its worth. Mulder on the RPB forum just posted that his friend ran into Braley in Burlington where he lives. And Braley said the deal to move the Argo's to BMO is done as well as the sale of the team. He said its up to the new owners to announce the deals.

May be why they're already testing removable paint on the ptich already.

Take that for what you will. May be true, may not be true. But looks like its just a delay in the inevitable.

^ Not that surprising, really... the tone of the parties for some time now has been one of basically a done deal. There hasn't been any sense of urgency or despair emanating from the Argos camp for quite some time now, which is telling when you consider that this is basically a full on existential crisis for that team.

In all fairness to RPB, you came across like an arrogant, disrespectful d!ck and your suggestions were not in the interests of soccer fans in this city. There are plenty of people there who are season seat holders of Argos/Ticats and TFC yet aren't getting banned since the kinds of comments made by you there were typical CFL-centric dillusion, while those other CFL fans are a bit more knowledgeable about all parties concerned.

P.S. The definition of insecurity is CFL fans from outside this province trolling an obscure TFC supporters group forum (there's like 5 supporters groups and this forum was members only till a few months ago) with entitled anti-TFC propaganda then wonder why soccer fans complain about pointy ball fans hating on soccer. Yes, most of the hate and obsessiveness is coming from pointy ball hee haw hillbillies, soccer fans are just happy to retaliate.

Tried to access the forum for the first time before last season and it asked for a username/password. Tried again late summer and it was visible to visitors, maybe it was a temporary situation, ah well.

See that's the beauty of this forum. Ignorant, thoughtless comments such as the ones above that lash out at a subset of CFL fans are allowed here. Say something remotely positive about the Argos at BMO on Red Patch Boys ie. "Hey guys I think this arrangement will work without doing untold damage to the field," and you get banned.

That's because nobody gives a crap what the red patch boys crowd says, we don't have the insecurity issues that obviously plague soccer fans.

"Pointy ball hee haw hillbillies"... ouch, that one hurt.

I saw Oilkountry's posts before they were deleted there... he was discussing the stadium and asked questions about the logistics of accommodating football, just as he has in this thread. But I guess that made the crowd there a little uneasy, so they banned him and deleted his posts. Bet you wish you could do the same with a few of us, huh?

It's quite obvious you care with the immature comments (Are NFL fans pointy ball hee hall hilbillies by the way?) Sounds like KIng10 didn't say anything untoward on their site yet he was banned and as a long-standing member and season ticketholder no less. If that's the case, RPB cannot be a very good forum one would think. A good forum would allow dissenting views as long as such views are presented without resorting to personal attacks.
