Has anyone noticed the second crane base that has shown up directly south of the existing 7/8th's scale tower crane located at the SW corner of the Bonnybrook treatment plant? Seems to be an odd location because it is right next to the existing crane - no room to do anything.

Noticed this morning that that second crane base that was next to the 7/8th's scale crane has now been moved further south or the 7/8th's scale was moved north - it appears that there is now enough separation between the two that both could operate there now. Also saw a portable crane there so it appears something will be changing on the SW corner of that site soon.

So odd - noted second crane base appears to be gone this morning but it almost looks like the 7/8th scale crane base is on some sort of track that allows it to be moved.

Had a good look this morning - 7/8th scale crane at Bonnybrook is definitely on a mobile base, certainly I've never seen such in Calgary.

Looks like a crane base being installed for Central Library. It's on the west side of the hotel u/c.

I have heard from a very good source that is not a crane for the library. So not sure how I'll classify it on the list.

Is it still for the encapsulation project? Looking at the pictures in the library thread it looks mighty close to the hotels wall, I suspect its for them.
