That website has been EXACTLY the same since at least 2008.

Updated information about the Hilton Garden Inn in the Union Station neighborhood: Demolition of the storage company building is scheduled to begin in June, with construction of the hotel starting in August. Opening is planned in March 2017. Davidson Hotels and Resorts will operate the hotel.

Here is a new rendering from a different angle showing the main entrance:

BTW, also noteworthy if not as newsworthy is another article by Burl Rolett back on February 19, 2015

"Developer launches $18M low-income project"
Quote:
The Burgwyn Co. has started construction on a new $18.5 million apartment building at Mississippi Avenue and Pecos Street in Southwest Denver. Ruby Hill Residences will provide Section 8 housing, with 29 of 114 units set aside for homeless veterans.

Burgwyn said there are more one-bedrooms in the development than he would typically build at the request of the Veterans Administration. The location is also a major selling point for the VA, which helped Burgwyn arrange millions of dollars’ worth of tax credits for the project.
Nice story.
Quote:
“The group that we have agreed to house are previously homeless veterans, some of whom go for medical attention to the facility in Lakewood,” he said. “It was located strategically to their medical facility near Union Boulevard.”

I had a question... I found little in the way of answers.

I did however find the 1st quarter office report by DTZ HERE.
Quote:
Roughly 2.0 MSF of new product will be completed this year, though most of these projects are slated for delivery over the final half of 2015. Of this total, roughly 800,000 SF of space remains available.
That's for the metro area. Specific to downtown, both 1601 Wewatta and the Triangle Building are heading towards the finish line and total about 500,000 SF. We've heard about the Liberty Global deal leasing a little over 70,000 SF at the Triangle building. After these two there will be 1401 Lawrence and Z Block with a combined 500,000 SF so far as larger projects go.

My curiosity was wondering what kind of leasing interest/activity Hines was experiencing at 1601 Wewatta. No clue on that question.

Site plan for the new "Stride" co-working campus near the 38th and Blake rail stop. The first phase of the project is U/C.

Crap box? I think it looks modern, and most importantly, unique. There's no other building in Denver like it. It's not another rubik's cube / lego building. Each update in the design is better than the last (that first one was awful IMO). You did notice that the windows protrude out from the building, right?

What constitutes the first phase? I live right by this and don't see any construction going on.

Wow... this is fairly large. I'm surprise I hadn't heard about this anywhere.

It is much larger (and nicer-looking) than I thought it would be. It's been going somewhat under the radar for a while. I think there were write-ups about it in the DBJ. Mike Biselli, who just announced the digital health tech campus Catalyst, was part of Stride, leading its development, but he split off and began working on Catalyst with Koelbel & Comp. Stride was originally envisioned as a digital health tech space but since Biselli left it looks like it will be less focused on those sorts of businesses.

imgflip.com

I just realized that when I cruised by earlier most of it went right by me.
Great location for this type of product.
