Yesterday I just caught this dramatic shot of a huge asteroid falling right on top of the Trump. Amazingly, no damage reported.

That's not an asteroid silly, that's a huge alien virus particle on your lens.

Today was one of the very rare days when you could wander into the middle of Georgia Street by the Art Gallery and take your time to get some shots.

Visited the showroom a few days ago; prices have been raised significantly. There's one 1-bedroom remaining priced at 880k, one jr two-bedroom on the 59th floor at 1.58m which was originally priced at 1.15m, some two-bedrooms (didnt ask for price and number remaining), and the few remaining 3-bed 2000 sq ft units are now priced from 4.8m which used to top out at 4.2m.

All three penthouse units still remain for sale; the developer have received numerous offers at $3500 per sq ft but said they're confident that they can receive at least 4000-4500.

So does anyone want to chip in for a penthouse?

All I can say is wow to all of this not only to the TTwist itself, but to the surrounding urban landscape.
A couple of random thoughts nevertheless:
Could anything predestrian-wise ever be done with the laneway behind the Twist-Fortis complex? Seems kind of a shame .... maybe build a platform over it and make it a plaza, with the underpass underneath, as the laneway itself has some vital and unavoidable vehicle access points.

Also, I look forward to the day when current infill, and I cite the small white building at the foot of TT, near the Bentall Complex; The concrete HSBC building on
Georgia, once considered a bold statement for then-Georgia Street, now no more than infill; concrete with grey dirt stains, and stylistically neither in keeping with, nor
making a counter-statement, to what is going up around it.
The third infill building that should ultimately go, IMO, is that small golden colored building at the western end of the TTwist property.
Get this done and we'll have the Canyon of Canyons (at least west of Toronto and Calgary) With the Twist, by its very desing, the centrepiece.

I would assume they would dress the laneway side of the tower well if not at least decently since that's where the actual hotel lobby and porte cochere is located. It wouldn't be wise to leave guests with a poor impression of the hotel upon arrival.

Dropped by the sales centre again today and the developer is thinking about keeping one penthouse for himself and won't be selling the other two until the completion of the building.

Prices for the 3 bed 2000 sq ft units have been raised significantly to almost $3500 a square foot topping out at 6.9m. These units used to top out at 4.2m at the launch of the project.

Currently, they are 88% sold with just 25 units remaining.
