little did the Argos know...I actually wasn't aware that the dome always had a big jumbotron. I thought that was added int he 2000's

Well The jets are out. I wonder when the work on MTS is gonna start? Im extremly excited to see the new scoreboard. I also wonder if the AHL comming back is going to warrant a new dressing room for the jets? The smartest thing to do would be to reuse the current stalls for the moosecaps dressing room and completely redo the Jets dressing room to a proper NHL standard. Not that its terrible or anything, Its probably nicer than most in the league. Its not an absolutely necessity by any means but I absolutely hate the cheap tiles. No biggy just an opportunity is kind of knocking on the door to do something special with it.

I find it funny how all teams have this unwritten 'policy' or 'code' of not wanting to have people walk on the team logo, yet they all have massive logos on the dressing room floor.

Oddly enough, I use to think they had a top dressing room but after seeing the ones in Buffalo, Vancouver and Pittsburgh I'm no longer impressed.

That Sabers Locker room is amazing. Wow. I would not be surprised if the Islanders get a great room at Barclays next gear, the Nets have a extremely nice set up in there.

^ Hockey is such an afterthought at Barclays that the Islanders might end up sharing a dressing room with the security guards.

Nice digs. Barclays is the nicest pro arena I have ever been to (The NCAA's Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks being the nicest arena, period). It's unfortunate that the seating layout is so terrible for hockey, otherwise it could have been a great home for the Isles.

I have a feeling when/if it gets done it could absolutely be the nicest in the league. True North doesn't mess around with things like this. just look at the Jets gear store in the MTS centre.

^ MTS Centre was fairly barebones on the inside for the first 7 years before the NHL came back. Now whenever TNSE adds/upgrades something it's always top notch, but the original fit and finish was very 90s-basic (even though it opened in 2004). The fan experience is pretty good, but no one would ever be impressed by the MTS Centre's level of luxury. Even the suites are pretty basic... they look more like what you'd see at the minor league ballpark in town than what you'd see in a typical American NHL/NBA venue.

I'm looking forward to seeing the setup in the new Edmonton and Detroit arenas (CBC had a bunch of renderings of the Detroit proposal too), and eventually the new arena here. Vancouver, Pittsburgh and Buffalo all look sweet.
