I meant the rest of the site facing 13th street. Here's the site plan. It doesn't look like a deck but I'm not exactly sure what this is.

From what I remember at the DRC meeting, that portion of the site is just access down into the lower deck or loading or something from the 13th street entrance. Pretty much a driveway. You can see the driveway and small parking lot along 13th. Hopefully they plant some trees with potential to get really big right there and make it like a dog walk area or something. It'd be better than nothing.

The Dali-esque one is intriguing...I'm anxious to see a close up version.
The other two provide a plethora of options for strapping time-lapse cameras to the bridges.

I agree. Looks interesting but I would need to see it more of it to whether I like it or hate.

Is that a park on top of the bridge? Hard to tell due to size but specks on top look like people

Although they also say the budget is about $3 million per bridge. There's no way you could build the park/mountain one for that price. The 5th street bridge re-do cost $10 million.

What high crimes are you referring too. I here crimes taking place in parts of the city, but not in this area.

I know some of those projects may not happen, but I really hope the 98th 14 street project is still alive and will happen. They are so quiet right now.

Cousins Properties will develop new NCR campus

http://www.bizjournals.com/atlanta/print...perties-will-develop-new-ncr-campus.html

Quote:
Cousins Properties Inc. will develop the new Midtown campus for technology giant NCR Corp., as the venerable Atlanta real estate company renews its focus on the city it helped build.

Cousins, known for developing Atlanta landmarks such as the 55-story Bank of America Plaza and One Ninety One Peachtree Tower, beat out real estate companies including Atlanta-based Carter and Houston-based Hines.
The first phase of the NCR project could include 300,000 to 400,000 square feet of office space at 8th and Spring streets, becoming part of Georgia Tech’s Technology Square.

The Flats at Howell Mill

The description on the architect's website is a bit confusing but this appears to be the new project on the site of the old office buildings near Crescent Howell Mill.

"The Flats at Howell Mill is located in the eclectic West Midtown district within walking distance of Atlantic Station and The District at Howell Mill." Riiight!

The power lines are a nice touch. The view out the 3rd/4th floor unit facing the transformers is lovely, I'm sure.
Are they being buried?
