I think Samsung opened their first Austin fab in 1996 or 1997, but you are right about the $13Billion plus investment in Austin. The $4 billion figure I incorrectly used was just the estimated cost of the 2010 or 2011 expansion of their multi-billion dollar 2007 chip facility. There must be a lot of back and forth between Austin and Korea as well as a substantial air freight component. I would imagine that right now most of that passenger business is going on AA or KE via DFW. Does anybody know the exact figures for Austin-Seoul passenger traffic.
