Interesting. Are you sure? I always just assumed that there have been mansions in Point Grey ever since UBC was established in the early 1900's. Plus those maps on vancity buzz that show you through a pictorial colour representation of how old houses are show that Point Grey houses are quite old I believe.

Is it that in the early 1900's, the original properties in Point Grey weren't as nice as the ones in Shaughnessy, and only relatively recently have buyers been snatching up the properties in Point Grey and building the nicest homes in vancouver?
