This is looking better than the renders - I like the red brick over the brown.

I think the planned waterfront condo/hotel development will be more of a game changer here. I'm not sure what's planned beyond that, but there is space for further intensification.

I just wish there would be more employment downtown... it's mostly retail, with some services and professional offices. The few office buildings are quite small. I don't think we'll ever see any larger ones built downtown though, not even a mid-rise which would be a great addition. Too much competition from the business parks along the QEW I guess, though there is plenty of parking downtown and the bus connections are decent, plus the QEW is quite close here too.
