I wasn't confused. I was saying that basically any high rise would be much better than what's already there.

A quick bit of sleuthing indicates it's an R.D. Sharma. But I don't begrudge him not doing anything with it yet. Not sure the demand really exists for people to want to live overlooking 85 quite yet.

It sure would make a great medical arts building, though, with it's prime location nearly adjacent to Emory / Crawford Long Hospital...

Hmm, disregard. For some reason I thought we were discussing the building on Peachtree next to 85 at the Brookwood split with the peach on the top.

True... But people also said that about the flat iron building in Fairlie-Poplar.

I used to go to the dentist there as a child. It was not that old then and was very nice.

Looks like there's a proposal to build an apartment building at 1240 Piedmont NE, across from the Piedmont Driving Club's tennis courts. From the NPU-E agenda:
"Applicant seeks a variance from the zoning ordinance to reduce the required
open space at the north side yard property line from the required 16ft per the
distance formula to 7ft. to allow construction of an apartment building."

State Farm Campus:
We haven't seen an update on this project in a long time! I was there yesterday and took a few photographs to share on the forum.

Blurry image I took from a moving car: (Lauren was driving)

This is what the completed building will look like:

Nice! So workers will be able to take the train directly to the building?

They've only disturbed the portion of the site where the tower is going.

Here's a site plan for reference:
