So does the pit represent both the Stantec HQ and the Delta? It seems absolutely huge - wondering how much of the site will be the actual HQ building, and what else is getting built here?

Also, suspecting a crane base will be going up soon? Will be pretty cool for both Alberta's big cities to be building their new tallest at the same time. Sort of like Dallas and Houston in the mid 80s.

The pit has gone down considerably since my last pic. Entire hole (full square block - wintergarden) will be underground parking. East side is Delta (north) and Stantec (south) towers. West side is just plaza I think...

The entire south face will be the podium for Stantec, probably with the tower's lobby directly underneath the tower and retail in the rest of the podium

Sounds like this is really going to get built!! So 230 meters puts it at 756', +-?

With the spire, who knows. Could be past 800'.

^^ That will be great!! Brookfield could up the ante and add a few floors. But Brookfield is all office.... so from my perspective, Stanteck is more impressive if it ends up over 800' because it's mixed/use!

I doubt Broofkfield would add more floors, but if height was a concern they could add a spire like Stantec

That would makes sense. If it's still 62 floors, that should put it up around 750-770 ft. a 50' spire could easily make it around 820' Canada is about to get a new tallest outside of Toronto.

So we're looking at 820-850ish feet then?

I was just walking with my dogs along the trails towards and near Goldbar the other day coming back to Dawson Park and I kept thinking, my god, this thing (and Delta) are gonna look monstrous in our skyline from the East. In a very good way.
