It is the same way for houses - providing they have basements.

Nope, but I see they have poured the first column for the upper concourse level on the east side. This is the 4th level above grade and the 6th level including the field level. There is one more level which is more a utility level and then the roof!

Humm must have just been a glitch, but yes looks like they have! It is impressive how far they have managed to get in just 8.5 months! However the ramps on the Northeast side look to be going up. I assume that's what they are? I thought they said that there would be only 2 ramps? However looks like there will need to be more than 2 to get up to the top level? Unless I am missing something?

Well there are only 2 concourses above grade. The other levels are suite/media and utility levels, so they can be serviced by stairs and elevators.

The project has made constant progress in one way or another. Sometimes it's hard to tell unless the structure grows physically. There are a LOT of slabs to pour yet. This warmer weather is very welcome and is helping the schedule. Mud and standing water are a being difficult on many jobsites. Lots of equipment getting stuck!

I agree those would be a great thing to have, and these are both PCL Jobs. You would think they might use the same equipment? Unless the CAM's are by someone else. But it IS better than nothing.

I live in Regina, but for those who don't at least you can see the progress.

Yes there are a lot of slab yet to pour, I mean they haven't even started on the west side above grade slabs. But I expect that the conditions will allow them to catch up and have slabs poured MUCH quicker now. If it took them 2 weeks to pour slabs on the east side, I would image a week for the west slabs in the warm weather?

Just be glad you have one webcam to view. Companies aren't making any money of it. Just an added expense so looky loos like us can see what's going on!

Exactly. Also keep in mind that liability issues come into play with webcams on construction sites. You don't want an accident/incident being broadcast over a live feed. I think the webcam is through RRI, and I don't know if PCL had a say in the matter, but I'm sure their legal people had a thorough review of things.

Be happy there is any type of a webcam in place.

They started digging 8+ months ago. They only started the first above ground concrete columns 5 1/2 months ago (2nd week of November). The ramps in the North east corner have been plodding along for a while now. Must be involved or complicated forming as they don't seem to be making much visual progress.

I believe this has been posted here before but I cannot find it. Does anyone have a map of how they are managing traffic flow getting in and out of the site. I am hoping they change the exit on to Lewvan, it is a nightmare after events getting out of there.

I expect that it will remain Elphinstone. And when the steel arrives (likely LARGE trucks) that they will need to close down Elphinstone in cases lift the steel with one crane and lay it down in the middle of where the field will go, then move it around with the others as needed.

Great point! That likely will need to be addressed. (Even though it fundamentally shouldn't be any different for when there are Pats' games/concerts.)

Oh were you talking when complete? I would assume Elphinstone would be closed off between Sask drive and Dewdney, and reserved for City Buses / Charters / Taxi's / Limos / Local Traffic. And GA Parking would be on the Evraz site to the West and North.

Just a guess.

Below is all that I have seen. It will a lot different than a Pat's game because there are 10x the people. One thing I don't think people realize is that Elphinstone will be completely shut down, at least the part south of 10th Ave. Elphinstone would be useless anyway with gridlock and thousands of pedestrians. The plan is to incorporate Elphinstone into the game-day plaza.

Note that this does not show the massive amount of parking available east of Elphinstone, at least until the Taylor Field area is re-developed.
