I won't go out on a glass balcony at all. I've tried before but usually last about 4-5 seconds.

There are at least 2 grocery stores within 2 blocks of Concordia already.

I like the new Ogilvy/Holt tower. Monolithic, sure. I just hope the parking lot across the street will see a project that will be much higher.

Both this lot and the parking across the street have a 65 meters limit...

I'm really liking how fine-grained the new buildings appear.
That is crazy density, and Bathurst and Bloor is already one of the most pedestrian crazy intersections in the city as it stands, I don't know if the area can handle this many (more) people, than already hang out in the Annex.

I really like how they make the podium of one of them look like 6 small individual buildings. As much as I wish we could keep Honest Eds I think this will do wonders for that intersection. everything west of Bathurst gets a little tired and neglected looking.

Shame. That is a lot that truly deserved a 120m building. I see no true justification for 65m here.

How is this disappointing? There is no way that they can build taller or bigger. This is the Annex, nothing but detached 2-4 storey homes around it. That's a lot of density and new retail that will be added to a very busy and neglected corner of the city.

I like Mars quite a bit, but I think Ogilvy won't be all glass, but rather with some kind of grey stone panels to match the historic Ogilvy store, maybe with some metal goldish panels as well. I'm still trying to get the info as to which architects is doing it.

Oh, I thought it was in the same area as "One Bloor" and " The One", - thanks for clarifying for me.

. . . carry on.

Henriquez and Westbank do great work, excellent attention to detail and the pedestrian realm. Excited to see what Torontonians think of the development once complete, it should be a breath of fresh air.

Find this developments and just about any Henriquez design needlessly complex. This is exacerbated by the number of phases in this development. I do appreciate the attempt to break up the podium but, ultimately, this looks incredibly forced like a subdivision with five different housing models. The styles are too few and too varied from another. The distribution of the density completely overpowers Markham Street. The pedestrian space is nothing special although the experience is undoubtedly better.

I am hopeful the necessary refinement in the distribution of the density will be precipitated by the DRP. I can live with the rest which I don't actually mind. I just find it overrated.
