I noticed that wherever there is a doorway they have the brick punched out. I am wondering if this will be for some kind of awning or protection from falling ice.

Not even the end of February and they are well over half way. I guess our predictions of the glass going up quickly came through.

I liking it more now that the glazing is going up. I still don't like that podium, but the rest of it all right IMO. It's kinda nice to have a tower that is a bit different and not just a generic glass tower.

I am just excited to see that project completed and become part of the background. It's been a particularly long time that took away sidewalks and disrupted the flow of the traffic.

Overall it looks better once completed, but I am most excited for another few hundred residents in the area more than the look of this thing

Seems they did not run out of glass last week as I thought they may have. The 11th was finished on Monday and the 12th was finished on Thursday. Yesterday they got a start on the 13th and completed the glazing mounts on 13. I also noticed from some reason or another they removed a door from the 8th and replaced it with a piece of plywood and what looks like a vent.

Today they finished the North side of 13 and should be able to finish most if not all of this floor by Tuesday and then onto the terrace floors.

I wonder why the door was replaced by a wood panel with a vent? Could it be some sort of heater and it needed exhaust?

Thanks. I may be wrong, but it really does not look like any drywall work has started yet. You can still see all of the framing through the glass from top to bottom. I think this is some of the drywall that was delivered a couple of weeks ago to the 4th that is still just sitting there.

Just noticed today they re-installed these glass panels on the top floor that they installed a while back and for some reason immediately removed.

Look like all these top floor windows are blue. But surprisingly they are working on Sunday.

Here is the first of the balconies that started going in today! With the chilly start to the week and only one crew installing glass, there is still about 1/3 of the 13th to go. Also doesn't look like there is any more glazing mounts started beyond the 13th.

You're right, I didn't notice the window was removed, but it has since been put back in along with a few more balconies installed.

Work has now started installing the glazing mounts for the 14th.
