^^^Wouldn't it be wonderful if the new Penn Foster building is like 600+ feet? It'll really create a focal point midst the bustle of all the new construction.

This thread still doesn't show up in the "Philadelphia Projects and Construction" forum, which otherwise includes all threads beginning with "PHILADELPHIA." Can that be fixed, s'il vous plait/por favor/per favore/pretty please with sugar on top?

700+ Patient Rooms, 50 Operating Rooms, Some kind of Below Grade Parking, Administrative offices, New State of Art ER, Bigger Lunchroom....

The footprint is nowhere near the size of current HUP, so I am sure it must go vertical.

That is the start of the foundation work. They still have to drill down quite a distance. I was told that it will be a very slow process as their is a 64k watt underground transformer in the immediate area. The guy from Driscoll basically told me, don't be in the area when it goes down.

The other issues in the immediate area is sink holes. There is one taking place in the driveway near the construction.
