It seems they are just slapping "executive" on the front of any and every type of development these days. In my mind "Executive" units are one bedroom larger sized units maybe with a den or office space. Pied-a-terre style. These are four story two bedroom town homes.
This is one area Qualex has really improved a lot. These are night and day better than their early attempts in Stella/Nova.
Stella seems to have aged pretty well, while keeping in mind it's an 8 year old building, and a more basic one at that. Sure small updates are needed here and there (appliances look dated), but the clean white design has aged pretty well IMO.
Nova... not so much. Dark interiors, wood laminate cabinetry that now looks like it's from circa 1998...

They have a huge high res night shot in the new condo living addition, looks very good. Looks like IBI group is expanding here, leasing 30k sf of space in the u/c Meredith Block, so prob see more work from them too.

I actually like plan two the best. Can't stand the Den ones where the bedroom isn't private. My thing is, if I'm going to pay out the ass for a condo, I'd want to wake up to a beautiful view every day, not frosted glass.
Here's a new one for the Marda Loop BRZ, Max. It is composed of a bunch of 4-storey townhomes I guess.
I am not a plan of that floorplan. I agree with you regarding the lack of storage, but I also dislike the living room space. The wall where the TV is placed can't be any wider than 3 feet. That would severely limit the size of TV you could put up and the size of the media console/TV stand, speakers.
Plan 1 and 6 are the best one bedroom plans.
Simple solution for the TV is to hang it vertically, which allows on to watch TV while lying down on the couch. Personally, I think this is a selling feature.

The street level of Park Point is actually not too bad. Definitely love the idea of another cafe facing on Central Memorial Park!

If the downtown view is a major selling point to you, know that your view of the Calgary Tower and surrounding area will likely be obstructed once Tower 2 of Park Point goes up.

While I don't get the value proposition, to be fair to this unit, there is storage in the deep closet that has the laundry. This is also a large'ish alcove immediately to the right when you enter, where you could put in a wardrobe.
If the door to the bathroom was a sliding door, the vanity in the bathroom could have completely been on the wall opposite the shower, allowing for a second door from the bedroom. I'm sure this would be a pinch tricky, but could probably be jigged to make it work.
Regarding the wall for the TV, I'd agree that's a challenge.
I'd rather have a small Juliet balcony and have the living room extended so the exterior wall is in line with the bedroom exterior wall. This would give mounds more room and indoor availability; the need for a large balcony is kind of reduced when there is a beautiful park across the street. I would still be able to sit outside with a couple chairs and maybe a small table between them with a balcony half that size.
