Im a casual observer of this site so my opinion doesnt matter but as an "outsider" I can tell you that the negative, condescending, insulting, arrogant attitude displayed by that guy is a real shame on a forum with a lot of wonderful information and mature posters. It really became a matter, not of what he was writing which was clearly educated but of how he was writing it.
An intelligent person with something to say can say it without demeaning the people reading. Im sure he is smart enough to do so also but he's clearly just a bitter, angry, mean-spirited person.
Again, as a casual observer, I hope his time off cools him down because he has a lot of good posts.
