The theatres were demolished almost 2 years ago I believe. As soon as it shut down, it was ripped out... So yes, it probably does look like this, but cleaner. It was opened a little when I went up there a few months ago and it was just a big empty area at the time, very clean and bright. Wait another year to find out what might be going up there... Give it time to see how that space will be used. Its not big enough for a department store, but too big for a "normal" store. A nice restaurant was also discussed for the space awhile back with use of the terrace as a patio just like Nordstrom is doing for their own resto. Great views of Parliament Hill from this area of the mall... Will be cool to see what they have in mind.
